          <title><![CDATA[Research Assistant – NEET Skills in Surrey Creative Industries (26-AAAA4412-0111-1)]]></title>

            <p id="isPasted">UCA is looking to recruit a Research Assistant on a 6-month variable hours contract (maximum of 98 hours) to join UCA research and innovation team in the ESRC IAA funding project <strong>Growing NEETs Skills in Surrey: A Place-based Grassroots Pilot</strong>. The small project aims to generate initial evidence and practical considerations for strengthening and scaling grassroots approaches to NEET prevention and re-engagement, with a focus on the context and contribution of the creative and cultural industries in Surrey.</p><p>The Research Assistant will contribute to the project and UCA team with fieldwork and applied research and innovation activities to initiate a structured mapping exercise to document a Surrey cultural organisation&rsquo;s current activities, target cohorts, partnership models, and delivery approaches for re-engaging young people at risk of becoming NEET.</p><p>UCA is Europe&rsquo;s 2nd largest provider to graduates to the creative industries in Europe. UCA&rsquo;s mission is foster leading-edge teaching and research related to creativity, business and technology in creative industries and the arts.
