The University for the Creative Arts (UCA) is looking to expand our team of enthusiastic Student Ambassadors. This opportunity is open to all current UCA students, across every level and campus.
As a UCA Ambassador, you’ll represent the University by sharing your own experiences of life and study here – inspiring future creatives to follow in your footsteps. You’ll play a key role in helping prospective students and their families feel welcome, informed, and excited about joining our community.
This is a rewarding role that not only allows you to make a real impact, but also helps you build valuable skills such as communication, teamwork, and organisation – all of which will enhance your future career in the creative industries.
The role is varied, and no two opportunities are the same. You might find yourself helping at Open Days, giving campus tours, or supporting creative workshops; speaking at schools, colleges and careers events; assisting at UCAS and Higher Education fairs; or taking part in webinars, Unibuddy or other virtual activities. You may also engage with families and applicants at community events, support Easter and Summer Schools or the Saturday Club, contribute to digital and social media projects, and occasionally provide office or event administration support. Whatever the task, your role will be to deliver an outstanding experience that reflects UCA’s reputation as the UK’s most creative university.
Ambassador work is casual and flexible, and working hours are irregular. This means that you will work on an "as required" basis, accepting work that fits around your studies and/or other part-time employment. Please remember that your academic studies always come first.
There is no obligation on the part of the University to provide ‘guaranteed’ work, nor for you to accept work offered. Full details on the process of job allocations will be provided to successful applicants.
Full training will be given to successful UCA Ambassadors. More information about the scheme itself can be found at: uca.ac.uk/ambassadors. Please email ambasasdors@uca.ac.uk for any question you may have about the role.
Interviews will be held virtually throughout October 2025.
