Are you passionate about fashion design and eager to share your expertise in pattern cutting? We have an exciting opportunity for a creative and innovative individual to join our dynamic team at Epsom as a Technical Tutor.
In this role, you'll play a key part in shaping the future of the BA Fashion Design course by collaborating with our Academic team to develop cutting-edge course materials and hands-on technical learning experiences. You'll be at the forefront of blending technical skills with creativity, experimentation, and innovation to inspire the next generation of fashion designers.
Our Fashion studios are full of energy, and you'll be instrumental in guiding students through their pattern-cutting journey. By leading technical workshops, inductions, and demonstrations, you'll help students fulfil their creative potential of pattern cutting, pushing the boundaries of their designs.
We're looking for someone with experience in pattern cutting, along with a deep understanding of the materials, equipment, and processes essential to Fashion Design. Your role will also involve maintaining the Fashion studios, managing specialist equipment, and ensuring a safe learning environment for all.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must, as well as the ability to problem-solve and think on your feet. You'll need to stay calm under pressure, embrace inclusivity and thrive as part of a collaborative team.
