Events Manager

UCA is seeking an experienced Events Manager to lead the strategic planning and delivery of a comprehensive events programme. This role is integral to supporting the university’s recruitment and engagement objectives through the effective delivery of events from open days to graduation ceremonies and staff events.

As the Events Manager, you will lead the development of a strategic events plan that aligns with UCA's long-term goals, ensuring that every event contributes to the university's broader objectives. You will bring a proven track record of managing large-scale events within a complex organisation, coupled with strong leadership and influencing skills, to guide and develop a dedicated team of event professionals.

Key responsibilities include overseeing event planning and resource management, building and maintaining relationships with academic staff, and regularly reporting on event performance to senior management. You will leverage data-driven insights to enhance event outcomes and inform strategic decision-making.

This is a dynamic and rewarding opportunity for someone looking to make a significant impact in a unique creative environment within Higher Education. The role will involve travel between campuses and at times will include some evening and weekend work.

For an informal conversation regarding the role please contact Julian Henry,  Head of Student Recruitment UK  at  julian.henry@uca.ac.uk
