UCA is looking to recruit a Senior Project Coordinator to support the development of the research and knowledge exchange (KE) activities related to The Centre for Sustainable Design ® role in the EC funded Just Fashion project. The focus of the research and KE activities will be on sustainability (and specifically circular economy) related to public policy, regulatory and standardisation activities in the fashion, clothing and textiles sector within Europe. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join a lead-edge team in circular economy, join a pan European project and engage in the fast-changing area of sustainability and policy development in the fashion, clothing and textile sector.
UCA’s mission is foster leading-edge teaching and research related to creativity, business and technology in creative industries and the arts. UCA has a strong base in practice-based research and is developing KE and Innovation alongside this strength.
The Centre for Sustainable Design ® (CfSD) was founded in 1995 and is based within UCA’s Research & Innovation (R&I) Department. CfSD has developed an international reputation related to its research and KE activities covering business and policy making aspects of sustainability (and circularity) particularly related to products. CfSD works on projects locally, regionally, nationally and across the globe with industry, academia, policy-makers and civil society.
