Accommodation Officer - Epsom
UCA have an opportunity for a highly-motivated individual to join the fast paced and dynamic and expanding Accommodation Team in Epsom.
The successful candidate will work closely with the existing Epsom Accommodation Officer and jointly you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the student accommodation in Farnham with emphasis on the safety, well-being and satisfaction of residents and the management of the properties and facilities provided, to standards demanded by legislation and good practice.
The Accommodation Officers are responsible for ensuring that the university halls of residence are fully occupied, and that excelled customer service is provided at all times with Student Accommodation often being the first point of contact a prospective student has with the University. The Epsom Accommodation Office works closely with Student Life Services and the Student Wellbeing Manager and also provides advice, information and support for students living in the private sector.
Due to the exceptionally busy nature of the office you will need a good standard of education, excellent organisational and planning skills, with the capacity to prioritise and complete multiple tasks to agreed timescales. You should have previous general administrative experience, preferably experience within the accommodation sector and ideally within an educational environment. You need to be able to demonstrate a capability for problem solving, have good written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to communicate effectively and clearly to both staff and students is essential, as is your ability to work well as part of a team.
The actual salary for this role is £17,233 per annum.
