Technician in Animation Production

We are looking to appoint a Technician in Animation Production to work in traditional animation practices. This position involves supporting animation resources and processes such as stop-frame editing, sand animation, manipulation techniques, and understanding materials for constructing props and characters. You will work with a range of software including Dragonframe, Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects to support animation delivery.

Additionally, you will be required to compile learning materials and deliver technical workshops and demonstrations as appropriate. You will contribute to the care and maintenance of equipment and be responsible for health and safety in your area of competence.

Excellent communication skills, the ability to work well in a team, and the aptitude for dealing tactfully with students and staff are essential. The ability to work under pressure is also crucial.

 Actual salary for this role is £16,391 per annum.
